Designers Creations for June

June Contest!!

Everyone likes a challenge right?

I have one for you for the month of June. Contest starts now thru June 15th!! Here are the scrappy details:

We scrapbook emotions, and family.
We scrapbook events.

This time around, lets scrapbook the things in our life that aren't people or animals...the laundry, going back to school, your faith, your job, etc.

The challenge for June is to take a photo of something in your life (that doesn't breathe!) and scrap it. Be creative with your photo and what you scrap! The sky is the limit - just make sure your subject isn't alive!

Send in these entries to mosyscrapper@hotmail.com by June 15th, midnight ET to be entered into a drawing for a GRAND PRIZE!!!

What is the prize?

The Store is up AGAIN....but.....

Yep, that's right, the store is up again!

BUT....


....it's only up for a short time. Till June 15th to be exact.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Man...was it a scorcher here! And not only the weather. The Mosy Scrapper store has been hoppin'! Tons of kits still need a home. Meet Nikki...our May GDT

This month we have a new Guest Designer from Oklahoma...meet Nikki Martin.

Hello my name is Nicole Renee Martin and I started scrapbooking when I was 12 years old. My Memaw got me started and I have never stopped. Other hobbies I enjoy are reading and watching movies. I have a 22 year old boyfriend who is pretty much the center of my life. I live in Stillwater, OK, a college town, and I am a senior studying Interior Design at Oklahoma State University. I love to buy things from etsy.com and love to make things to sell there in my own shop, another creative outlet for me. My dream job is to be a professional scrapbooker and I am working toward that dream every day. I am so excited to be a member of the Design Team for Mosy this May!

Favorite tool: punches

I scrap in the evening and at night. I have a more modern style and I either use lots of embellishments or make my pages very simple.

Best Tip: clean up after you are finished with every page, it helps to start each project with a clean space.

I scrap as a creative outlet. I also love the thought of being able to look back and see all the moments I missed and know what I was thinking.

We are thrilled to have Nikki a part of our team! Can't wait to see what she brings to TMS!! Congrats Nikki!!

May Contest - Repeat Object Art

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

What is everyone up to today? Scrapping? Shopping? Not scrapping? (okay, so that last one is a crime! LOL)

Well, I'd like to challenge everyone (I seem to do that A LOT! ;) ). Lori and Julie, 2 of our DT members, have come up with a wonderful contest for everyone to take part in. The "Repeat Object" Art Contest. This is a GREAT project for Mother's Day, birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, or something to go up on the wall in your scrap area. What is it? Here are the details....

For this month's contest, select a shape (i.e. tag, heart, bird, owl, etc.). Cut multiple shapes of your liking from different papers or media. Embellish each item as you wish. Add pictures, journaling, or decor to your shape. Lay them out in a grid pattern on background paper and adhere. This may be framed depending on

• the depth with/without glass,
• in a shadowbox,
• or even mounted on chipboard or canvas.

After completing the above directions, please take a photo and submit it to mosyscrapper@hotmail.com (subject line: Repeat Object Art Contest), along with a description of your masterpiece, by May 17th @ midnight ET to be entered in a drawing for a RAK given by TMS!!! Must be a member with TMS and have a minimum 25 posts on the message board.
